After three studio albums and over a decade deep in the music industry, THE INTERRUPTERS deliver their new album 'In The Wild.' This 14-track opus is the real deal; it's a story of survival, a story of resilience, from a band that is brave and rejects the simple impulse to repeat what has worked before. During the lockdown, Aimee Interrupter, partner and guitarist Kevin Bivona, and his younger twin brothers Jesse (drums) and Justin (bass), decided to put their idle hands to work together. After Kevin set up a home studio in their garage, he jumped in and took on the production duties, wanting to be 'the responsible one' this time. The record took shape in an informal and organic way, and the recording process was clearly a fun one, reflected in the sound of the album, which spans from breathless punk rock to doo-wop, gospel, dancehall, and the band's usual nods to their Two-Tone heritage. This is also evident in the uplifting mood and sparkling appeal of the featured guests (Tim Armstrong, Rhoda Dakar, Hepcat, The Skints). Thanks to the cocoon of the intimate environment they had created, and relaxed working practices, the results were made for the most personal Interrupters album to date, and the one that all four feel most connected to. The follow-up to their groundbreaking 2018 album 'Fight The Good Fight,' which spawned multiple singles including 'She's Kerosene,' with over 50 million streams to date. This hit brought the band to the top of radio charts around the globe and had them playing live with everyone from Dropkick Murphys to Green Day. It was the spring of 2020 when they set off on an 8-week Hella Mega stadium Tour supporting Green Day, Weezer, and Fall Out Boy in the US, when the band's plans, like the rest of the world, fell through. The forced time at home gave them a much-needed break followed by an injection of creative energy that led the band to write over 80 songs, curate a live album and a documentary film about their lives and their first trip to Japan. THE INTERRUPTERS will be back on the European mainland in 2023.
