Once upon a time... fairy tales began, telling stories of fantastic worlds and brave heroes. These are stories that have accompanied us for thousands of years and have their origins in the human imagination. In line with this theme, Oliver Satyr has created a beautiful introductory prologue for the FAUN album 'Märchen & Mythen', which was narrated by none other than Otto Mellies, the actor who lent his voice to the wizard Saruman in the film 'The Lord of the Rings'.
FAUN drew inspiration from the world of local fairy tales for 'Märchen & Mythen', weaving a musical masterpiece in which, as is often the case in fairy tales, the dream world and reality are repeatedly intertwined. Those who engage with Pagan-Folk, which FAUN invented, immediately recognize the theme of mythical connection to nature that can always be found in the group's music and lyrics. It is worth mentioning that this has a political dimension, particularly in times of excessive and economically motivated exploitation and destruction of nature, and the resulting climate crisis.
Finally, the album is being released on colored Vinyl. It comes on a high-quality 180g LP and includes a 4-page booklet in Vinyl size, limited to 1,000 units.
